The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

So if my fiance uses my phone for her account, will she be banned?

My girlfriend and I live together and we both play MCOC. We use each other's phones, constantly logging in and out of various devices as needed for whenever we want to sit down and grind.

Are you seriously telling me if either of us pick up the other person's device and log in under our own accounts to play you'll consider that account sharing?

And if that's not the case, how do you even know it's not me logging into her account? I don't think you can ... the only way you can is if we're logged into one account at the same time, which we do not do.

But you're unclear, you're making players afraid to log in on more than one device at all and, that's not ok.

You're talking about "if you play legitimately you're ok" but I am playing legitimately - on a different device that has a few accounts tied to it because a few different players who live in the same house use it. How does that not fall into the danger zone of "account sharing"?

I understand what the spirit of the rule is: don't hand your account off to some gamer to play for you while you're asleep. But you're not addressing the issue of "if my phone's dead and i want to use someone else's device for my account, can i, and what guarantee do i have you won't ban me for account sharing?"

If you're using your own Account, or she is using her Account, it's not a concern I'm sure.

Go back read your terms and conditions.
Account sharing itself is also not allowed.
Maybe now you are not banned.
Does not mean account sharing in this way is allowed.

    How can you know though?

"This one phone has two accounts constantly logging in and out, and both accounts are tied to two different iTunes accounts and two different Kabam accounts under different names. Looks like account sharing!" No!

If the Account belongs to you and hers belongs to her, then it's not an issue. If this is a hypothetical, that would still be the answer. It's simple. Don't share Accounts. People can log on to their own Account using the same device.

They are perfectly clear. Account sharing is not allowed. The situation you're describing is not account sharing.

What you are unclear about is how they can tell the difference between account sharing and your situation. But that's not Kabam being unclear, that is you being unclear about how account sharing is detected. I don't know how Kabam does it. But this stuff happens all the time and most of the time the people examining account logs can distinguish your situation from the situations they are most concerned about.
