NIGHT RIDER Uncollected EQ 3.2 Thorns bug

Hello,
Omega's tentacles reduce100% damage inflicted by an enemies ability to deal instant damage when they are struck...
This passive ability of Omega Red is not working on Thorns path in Event Quest 3.2.

Maybe thorns doesn't count as the enemies abilities since it's a node
