Gifting crystals

Have they announced when they're going to start rolling out the gifting crystals? If not, does anyone have an educated guess from years past?
Last year my wife got a 4* Kang on her first crystal, sadly I'm still a little jealous.

I would say it would be probably next week or with the release of a 10 or 14 day holiday calendar starting from the 20th. this is my guess @Drake2078
