Block proficiency

Has anyone else experienced blocks not working as much as before? I am not sure if it’s me but blocks for a parry get busted before I can get the block in. Also block breaks happening at greater frequency as well. Is it me losing my touch or have they nerfed defense? Penny for you thoughts.

I've noticed this exact thing the since yesterday, maybe I'm not as focused as always but many parries have failed and leaded me to death.

I hope it's some sort of bug and not me losing my touch.

literally just started noticing this in the last day or two. not sure what it is. i've recently changed my mastery build a little bit so thats what i attributed it too but i don't think i did much on blocking masteries. so i'm not sure if it was something i did still with masteries or if i just suck or if it's an actual issue. hahah. but i've had this same thought the last couple days

It does seem like the window to perform a proper parry/stun has shrunk just a bit.

I feel the same. This last update has the game feeling very off for me. I was just asking myself the other day if I'm somehow getting worse lol

I've been having the same issue, in the last 2 days I've suddenly started taking loads of damage from a) blocking and not triggering parry and b) blocking and not triggering block in time. As a result I've struggled through Master event quest today despite completing Uncollected quite easily.

In my last AW I also had the experience of using parry, seeing the word parry appear in green, but not triggering the stun (defender was NC on +20% ability node - no reason parry should fail). Going to have to screen record all fights this AW.

Wonder if I should scrap defensive masteries if they were nerfed?
