Act 5 degeneration vs Gulk

I'm focusing to become Uncollected but I saw that act 5 has degen node all over. So I think Gulk can counter that if that's passive degen by his Face Me. Am I right? Need help please.
And also I think Willpower mastery is must need for act 5. So also need tips for that.

    No face me doesn't work on act 5 degens, only starburst i think

    Ok nice... Then what's about Willpower mastery? Is it must need?

    It's good to have it, but it isn't that useful in act 5, because when you do take DOT in act 5(e.g iceman coldsnap), the damage is so high that willpower is useless

    Gulk doesn’t work for those, the way to combat them is just play the way they’re built, life transfer isn’t an issue, bane needs timing, brute force needs aggressive play and flare needs rapid damage
