As we continue to work to address ongoing issues regarding Parry and Evade, we will be extending the Week 4 Quest of the Summer of Pain and its Solo Objectives by 1 week to better allow you to complete this content. This will not result in next week's content being delayed.

Trash rewards so I am expecting to kick every enemies lights out compared to the lastI champions clash which made sense why it was hard when comparing the rewards.

    A full T2A, 7k Shards, 350k Gold, 25 Sigs.....trash?

Yes, if you compare the rewards to the difficulty of content.

Compared to Champion's Clash they aren't as great, not trash, but not great either.

But I would take the "very difficult" with a grain of salt. They love saying that when its actually not.

When you consider that a majority of people aren't really capable of going through these Quests with ease, very difficult would stand when addressing the entire Player Base. Lol.

Not all content is made for all of the "player base" as you say.

By no means do I have ALL the champs to counter every content that comes out, but not all content is created equal.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't objecting to the content. I was pointing out that the Announcement is for the entire Player Base, and the majority of them will find it very difficult. I'm quite aware that not all content is for everyone.

I know this is about Iceman, but could tough it out be reference to Luke Cage's Sig ability???

Yes, an update was sent this morning, for one specific fix to Darkhawk quests. There are still other issues which are noted in the "bugs and other known issues" threads.....they have been ongoing for quite a while

My first thought was champions that show up in the chaos and war dungeon crystals on the left and any that are in the death and nightmare will be on the right. However, "Death and Nightmares" being plural with no pro-noun does make me think it is the nodes.

Primordial power definitely refers to The Champion. I would have liked to see a new boss. Fighting The Champion is just annoying. No offense Kabam, but I am not a big fan of The Champion. I love Ægon's abilities, but his missing arm makes me feel really sad for him. Please keep buffing champions that are out of date and not given any love.

I don't see why Kabam keeps making endgame content... While I can complete these new, harder quests, many players cannot. You guys are continuing to alienate low and midtier players from the endgame players. If this game is going to last, every type of player needs to have new content added that they can complete to keep the game fresh and exciting.

New players don’t keep the game running, end game whales do. Besides it’s been mentioned that there’s tons of content for lower-mid tier players to complete. Act 4, Act 5, RTTL, and EQs. Not all content is going to be made for everyone

If we actually delve into past content in pasts months, you would actually see that end game players are being treated with much more content. Varient difficulty, round 2 of the champion clash, increased difficulty of new EQ's, along with the fact that midtier players cannot finish all of act 5. While yes, endgame players do tend to spend more, all levels of players spend money, so solely catering to endgame players is not a good business plan nor a way to keep to the game going for upcoming years.

Variant was the 1st really endgame content in ages. I'll give you champion clash round 2 but there was also round 1. Most of the side quests we have have been for mid tier players. Not being able to finish act 5 isn't really an example of recent end game content. EQ difficulty has been up and down as always. Plus they haven't released the Chilled Challenges yet. I don't think there is anything to see here.

I'm guessing the neurotoxin emitter is Archangel, isn't he? The one with the cold might be Iceman.

That's not really a fair statement. There's an entire Player Base to consider. While this may be geared towards more advanced Players, and there's certainly a need to provide something for them, there's also a need to provide it for others as well. I don't think it's very fair to say people should go play Candy Crush if they want something for them as well.

Considerign the rewards, this won't be too hard. Prolly easier than the Champ Challenge, which was pretty easy.

I wonder what it would be like if people waited for a quest to come out before complaining about how hard it is.
  • JustapilgrimJustapilgrim Posts: 239 ★★
All these people complaining the rewards arent enough are nuts. A full t2a for 6 paths if Im not mistaken. Thats pretty generous. Sure i was personally hoping for T5B fragments, but 70% of a 5* and a full t2a is more than enough.

I think I'm prob right on the edge of this content, i hope it's a notch below ch. 2 of champions clash, like somewhere in between ch. 1 and 2 or the last path of ch. 1 would be great, I need t2a for my next r4 so bad. I have 2, if i could complete this and they give one for xmas in some fashion wether it be a calendar or a Xmas day gift I'll be able to do it. Would be a great Xmas a man can dream... hope I can do it.

You’ve spent almost 850k in the offers they’ve put out?

Bro, go to a casino. At least there you could get some return.. smh

How quickly some people forget. What about GPGTTM event? All mid tier players basically got 2 free 5* for nothing. Also, in October, players got a free Symbioid they could rank just by doing the content and didn’t even need to be Uncollected to participate in the difficulty. They could waltz through the content with easy and get another 5*, 6* shards, and tons of rank up materials. Kabam has done a lot for mid tier players lately so now Kabam is focusing on end game players with Variant and possibly this. The verdict isn’t even out on this difficulty yet. Plus you can say Champion Clash was only for end game players but chapter 1 had a lot of great rewards for mid tier players.

So, 2 things in 4 years that you can think of to say that Kabam is catering to mid tier players? And I disagree about the symbioid event. It was not as easy as you are making it seem. I couldn't complete it even with all of the ridiculous boosts that you could put on your symbioid. I know I know, I must be trash, right?

On my second account (with nothing higher than a 5/50)I was able to complete the epic symbioid event with relative ease. While I'm not calling you trash, it's probably not fair to slam Kabam for a gap in your own skill.

And the complainers looking for content for beginners and median players? Ehat do you think Event Quest beginner thru Master is? If you havent finished Act 4 or Act 5 yet, anything else added for you will slow your progression.

I’m F2P and have no problem with these events. Got my roster by grinding away over the years. You don’t need to pay to win - but it helps.

You’ll be able to scout ahead and plan your path to make sure you bring the best champions for the job. To help you plan on who to bring, We’ll give you 5 tips to help with some of the fights:

-Those who can Strike True will be able to hit the mark.

-It may get cold, so either be prepared or try to tough it out.

-If you listen carefully to the Maze, you can hear the sound of a neurotoxin emitter emitting neurotoxins.

-Chaos and War can be found to the left, Death and Nightmares will be on the right.

-Primordial power awaits at the end. Be prepared to face the greatest fighter!

Gotta love challenges that fit your r4-r5 5*s and style of play

    - Proxima/Corvus

    - Sabretooth/Corvus

    - Sentinel

    - Intercepting

    - Voodoo

Umm no we were talking about in the past few months, or at least I was. And yes the symbiote quest was pretty easy. I only had a couple 5/50 and was able to finish all difficulties including symbiote. I don’t know you or your skill level but the quest was completely doable with a low roster. This will be my last comment to you though as you are clearly just looking for things to complain about so I don’t want to spend hours arguing back and forth. I hope you find something to enjoy about the game. Otherwise why play it? Good luck fellow summoner.

    1) Killmonger, Heimdall, Karnak (haha)
    2) Iceman
    3) Archangel
    4) Aspect of War/Nightmares/etc nodes on different paths
    5) Champion as boss

Not sure if the first 3 are hints as to who to bring or who the defenders will be, but sounds pretty straight forward.

    Looking forward to the challenge

#2 is sabretooth, Mephisto or Corvus. Have to deal with cold snap damage. Iceman not immune, ironically enough.
