Karnak True Strike vs Ant Man Glancing

When fighting Ant Man with Karnak on Act 3 Chapter 1 of the event quest, my strategy was to use his special 1 and use true strike and focus to overcome glancing. When I hit Ant Man with true strike and focus active, there were a few times where the damage showed up yellow (critical hit) but the damage was cut in half. For example, Karnak's regular medium attack got Ant Man for 1214 damage on a critical hit, but sometimes I would see a critical hit appear on a medium attack with only 608 damage.

Not sure if this is a glitch or Ant Man's signature working as intended. Could anyone answer this question?

Seems like all Karnak is enabling is the ability to land crits that glance

Glancing is a defensive ability not a champion stat that you can ignore with true strike

EDIT : why bother making this thread though? If ur karnak can do 1214 damage act 3 should be a breeze for you

True strike states it has the ability to "ignor armor, resistances, and passive evade effects". Is glancing a resistance?

If it is, then Karnak should hit full crit damage on glancing.
If it isn't, then Karnak shouldn't land a critical hit at all during glancing because glancing halves damage and removes crit chance.

Glancing has nothing to do with Ant-man's own stats it reduces your attack not increases his own resistance

Karnak's L3 would be able to go past it tho. Glancing is a defensive ability and his L3 reduces ability accuracy meaning it will trigger less or none depending on the % reduction.

Glancing *should* be defensive ability, but it's not. It's labeled as a passive. Why? I have no idea, but you can easily test it with any of the defensive ability reduction champs. He glances through all of them. It's one of the few defenses in the game that doesn't actually have a weakness, apart from the champ it's on being weak.

Glancing can't be reduced by anything
