Timer on grandmaster crystals and uncollected golden crystal

Anyone know why I am seeing a timer on the grandmaster crystal and the uncollected gold crystal?

They were suppose to be permanent. Only thing I can think of is they are doing something new with them come next Wednesday which is usually when they roll out new stuff. Or it's a visual bug.
