Gifting event eligibility

I joined a new alliance in the middle of gifting season. Will i be eligible for rank rewards. I have contributed a lot of points in the event in this new alliance but am unable to claim rewards.

I believe so you just won't be able to get the previous milestone rewards they unlocked.

Any locked milestones you should be able to earned as long as you score enough points. And because they said there is no blackout period for this event you should be able to claim tank rewards from the new ally.
