Gifting Event is bugged

Im looking for some help 
Last night I was grinding out Variant and was in need of some more revives; however, my alliance mates were asleep so i started scrolling through my contact list to see if anyone was around to trade revives. I found a player who was willing to swap 5 -level 2 team revives @ 500 units. The screen looked different this time and a box for my entire ally was checked?? I unchecked the box..then I scrolled down to view other contacts NOT in my ally and found my friend whom I was to trade revives. Upon clicking send, a VERY ODD screen popped up..it said 'Verifying Transaction"????? Then a most frightening message popped up --> "You have sent 5 items (5 team revives) to 39 people!!!!! What ?!?!? At a cost 19,500 units, the bugged programming of this event somehow checked the box for all 39 of my contact NOT in my ally and gave each player 500 units of team revives

I opened a ticket, but kabam customer service is saying i need to contact each of the 39 players and ask them to open a ticket with my case number to verify they want a reversal of the transaction?? Some of these players dont even play anymore, while others i havent really spoken to foe a while since joining my new all a few months ago. I find it unsettling and quite unfair there isnt a streamlined way to correct this. I IMMEDIATELY reached to kabam when it happened. Can you look into this and help get this fixed please?!?!? It took so looooong to get that many units and for a programming glitch to snatch them away feels terrible
