losing war ONLY because of diversity...

Dear Kabam,

We had more attacker kills, mode defender kills, more map exploration and 1 defender remaining. Still we lose TO diversity. How were the opponents more skilled than us?

They won on diversity, by 190 points. If they hadn't gone for a diverse defence, it may have been harder for you, and they could've outskilled you instead. That's just how the game works

Well, diversity is a factor of the scoring. Everyone knows that. While I don't think going full diversity is necessary, we do take it into account making sure to hit around 130. Y'all hit 83 which is pretty bad.

Be more diverse.

Your fault, this has been the case since wars 2.0 were introduced.

You have to weigh how much impact a double will have on the outcome. Frankly, I think only 2 or 3 champs are useful doubles and even that depends on the map difficulty. In some tiers, every defender goes down anyway, often with boosts and not with revives, so might as well place a diverse def.

3 bg 83 diversity is pathetic. We have 90 diversity with 2 bg.

Lol, is this a post from January? 83 diversity is pretty bad, ramp up your diversity. You would have won even at 35 diverse champs with each group. That’s 105.

If you want to grow as an alliance you’ll need to ramp that. As you climb tiers you’ll see people have diverse good defenses.

OP, 83 really is a pretty poor diversity score. You gotta vary those champs at least a little bit dude.

They are much more skilled than you since they died only one extra death while fighting a probably much harder defense since you had your diversity too low

Aws don't just come down to skill, so "How were the opponents more skilled than us?" Doesn't make sense.

They were better organised with their defence, which takes more communication and time input than throwing in any defenders you want. They were the better alliance and deserved to win

This post is the same as complaining if in playing baseball and the other team wins because they hit more homeruns than your team even though you get more hits. All that matters is the points in the end. Your alliance did a poor job with defense and you probably deserve that loss. You also died 54 times. Try pointing fingers at yourself instead of the scoring system.

I dont know what's the problem in here, if u don't pay attention to diversity, u will loose because of this sometimes.If u have problem how to do it here is an example :
Choose an officer, he/she handle the rest ;
Open an excel and write there every champions by their classes
Write every member's name and their defense team another clumn
Let's say someone of your group's name and team is " Megavok = hyperion - gwenpool - stark spider - black widow - scarlett witch "
Change those champions name color in champions list.
This is my way to handle all diversity in the whole alliance. I have an excel for each group. I can track everyone, I can see which members are breaking the diversity. I suggest everyone who is struggling with diversity this method, it's very useful.

If you are placing duplicate champs and they are not averaging 1 kill every 2-3 wars, swap them for a diversity champ. At your diversity you probably have a lot of duplicates not doing much on AWD and you will quickly ramp up diversity as you swap them out

Hey ! ATT team member here, we actually worked hard on our diversity for this war because we lost the previous one only by a few points we could had by swaping some defenders, It was close but I guess it paid

1. You win by scoring more points, not by claiming to have more skill.

2. You placed a ton more duplicate defenders than they did, which implies you placed a lot more of the strongest defenders (because if you placed a lot of duplicate poor defenders that's just dumb). And yet, even though you put up more of your strongest defenders than they did, they were able to kill those defenders at almost the same kill/defeat ratio as you. To put it another way, they took a gamble placing diverse for diversity points and hoping you didn't kill them to easily. They won that gamble, because you were not skillful enough to make them pay for that weaker defense. That is an entirely legitimate way to win.

As an aside, 83 is a horrible diversity level for that tier of war. You are less likely to have as much stacked defenders capable of generating tons of kills (and the score reflects this) so your return on investment for all those duplicates is relatively low. You should probably be at least above 110 to reduce the chances of costing yourself too much diversity points without enough attack bonus (reduction) return. You should be able to either place a defense that diverse or work on ranking a defense that diverse over time without weakening that defense by a lot.

This hurt. We missed out on plat from the loss. We had two dominos in different bgs get 12 kill's a piece. So like 18 kill's ment nothing to us.
