Venom doesn't counter evade?

Hey @Kabam Miike , I know that Variant is supposed to be hard and all, but spider man is evading against Venom. I have looked through the nodes and on multiple paths and he can still evade. Venom's abilities state that he ignores all spider-verse champions passive evade effects, so I'm just wondering if this is a bug with Variant specifically, or just with the ability as a whole. Also, anyone else having this issue or is my game just messed?

    Do you have your klyntar rage buff active?
    Is there a node that counter's your buffs, like fisticutts for example?
