So please explain to me how this match making is even close to fair? My team is 16k pi and you match me against 34 to 39,000 pi teams. Say what that’s double what my team is this is freaking ridiculous!!! It’s every match too...1iqaha99jq7r.png

Right?! Is this match 6? Is this match 10? Is this match 46?

What streak were you on? Because this looks like a 10 - 15 streak match up.

its a walk in the park if they being aggressive and you can get them to throw specials but for some reason in the early fights kabam likes to make them very passive. So for a fight like this its pretty much a guaranteed lose if they refuse to throw special attacks.

i dont know if there is a pattern anymore that doesnt throw these high PI matches around.

    I do
    matches 1-8 Any champs
    Matches 9-12 4* R3, 4* R3, 4* R1
    matches 12-17 4* R5 or 5* R3

but I still get from matches 12 13 14 and maybe 15 these high Pi fights, after that they drop below my teams Pi level.

I think before december I used the above pattern and never got a Pi fight in the 30k range. Usually the hardest would be 21K or 22K

    Are you sure?

If I use anything below a 4/40 4* in ANY arena = deathsquad.

    For 4* featured, 5* and t4b, t1a arena

Match 6-15 4/55 + 2x 3/45 or 5/50 will trigger Kant’s/Thanos team. Still high PI, especially match 11-15 but no mastery.
Match 16-17 4/40 or 2/35 + 2x 5/50 or 3/45 will get you same or slightly higher PI opponents.
Match 18-20 5/50 or 3/45 + 2x 4/40 or 2/35 will get you same or slightly higher PI opponents.
    Match 20+ 2/35 + 2x 1/25 or 3/30, minimum total PI 10,500
    Or high PI 4/40 (~4500) + 2x 1/25 or 3/30, minimum total PI 11,000

Worked for me for the past 3 month

Pretty sure this is out of date. You can’t use a team of 4* 3/30 in any catalyst arena after the first 10 matches anymore. The meta of the arenas has changed in recent months. Look up Proff Hoff or Brian Grants contest of champions YouTube channels. They do a great job of explaining why the meta has changed and how to build and keep your streak in arenas

You can make it much easier than that in the Catalyst arenas. You don't even need skillz, @WÏCKED. I know because I don't have any 😋

Don't even use four star champs in fights 13-15 for the catalyst arenas. You can use anyone.

Drop down to your three-star champs (use some of your endless stockpile of arena boosts if you like). This is where a good stable of high Sig three-star champs comes in handy!

Use your best, favourite champs for 4/40, 4/40, and a 1* 1/1. Power Controllers and heavy-hitters favoured.

You'll find the matches very do-able; especially if you save a pairing like Hawkeye and Vision for match 15 (throw in an unranked synergy champ if you have one. I keep an unranked 3* IMIW to boost Vision's damage. These two guys can totally control any arena fight, and they punch well above their weight.

Match 16-19: Use a full group of 5/50 or 2/35 champs.

Match 20: Start mixing in one 4/40 or 1/25 champion. You can go with full 4/40s after match 25.

For the T4B arena I tried a few combinations but for some reason I made my own (after a few tries and fails).

    1-5 - 3 heroes low 4* (rank 2) - just to build the 3X multiplier

    6-10 - 2 heroes low 5 * (rank 2+) + 1 hero 2*/1* rank 1 - basically I start with my lowest 5*s and go up in my roster - usign 5* to get the most points
    6-10 - can be also with 2 heroes 4* (rank 3 or 4) - if you don't have 5* - + + 1 hero 2*/1* rank 1

    Fight 11: 2x4/40 4 stars, 1x unranked 1 star
    Fight 12: 2x3/30 4 stars, 1x unranked 1 star

    Fights13-15: 2x4/40 3stars, 1x unranked 1 star
    Here I use my best 3* .
    13: 3* Thor + 3* Korg + 1*
    14: 3* Kilmonger + 3* Iron Man Inf War + 1*
    15: 3* X23 + 3* Luke Cage + 1*
    No easy fights but manageable.

    Fights 16-20:
    2x4 5/50 + 1x4 4/40
    or
    1x4 5/50 + 1x5 3/45 + 1x4 4/40
    or
    2x5 3/45 + 1x4 4/40

    Fights 21+
    - same as fights 16-20
    - 2x4 4/40 + 1x4 3/30

    I never go below - 2x4 4/40 + 1x4 3/30
    Also I don't have 5* above 3/45.

    And remember:
    - 1x4 5/50 is equal with a 1x5 3/45
    - 1x4 4/40 is equal with 1 1x5 2/35
so you can pair them accordingly.

WITHT THE CHAMPS YOU HAVE, YOU ARE MORE THAN CAPABLE IN BEATING THEM.
HAVING SAID THAT, WHERE ARE YOU IN TERMS OF STREAK. YOU WILL ALWAYS 100% GET THESE FIGHTS BETWEN FIGHTS 14 - 17

I did a video on YT ages ago for using 3* and when you can use 4*. Still works today. Highest watched one to date IIRC and I know people still use it.

i use this up to fight 14 and the fights after that I use 5/50 or equivalent champs till 17. Then I just make sure my combined pi is above 12k. Never had a death match doing that in t4b and I run it every week.

Just finished day 1 of t4b at the 1.1m milestone

Match 1-10 any champs you like. But I usually start from my lowest ranked 5* going up to maximize the score

    Match 11-15, either use at least 2 4/55 or sandbag it - I'm using 2 4/40 + a 1*

Match 16 onwards do not use less than 4/40 4* or 2/25 5*

TBH, this is the best place to get good at the game in a pretty no lose situation. Fighting through deathmatches is where many have honed their skills.

    This.

And also winning those fights you've sandbagged with a 1*/2*.
