also the higher stats of an act 3 boss health attack etc

Man. Imagine the opponent gains a 20% increase on his attack rating for every hit you gain on your combo meter and that opponent happens to deal energy damage to you that scales with his increasing attack, so basically, you can take 6k+ damage from just blocking one of his attacks. You still think The Thing wouldn't have been an easier fight compared to this rulk bs?

His unstoppable is easily prevented by baiting his sps. Even if you can't do that you can block without receiving 6k+ worth of damage which takes out your champs in less than 5 hits regardless of whether you're blocking or not.
