Special while stunned

I am writing this post fresh from AQ, and I've just been wrecked by kamala on node 51 of map 3, the fight was going well, until, I landed a stun after my sp1 with gwenpool, went in for another 5 hit combo and BOOM! kamala throws her sp2 with at least 0.2 seconds left on the stun. All her hits crit. This is absurdly unfair and it may cost me my AQ path. Has anyone else experienced this? Please look into this kabam.
