Gods vs Synergy

For end-game content, such as Act 5 Chapter 2, is it better to have Gods for questing or Synergy with increased PI?
Team 1 (Synergy): 5* Black Panther 3/45, 5* Storm 3/45, 5* Guillotine 3/45, 4* Magik 5/50, and 4* Magneto 5/50.
Team 2 (Gods): 4* Gwenpool 5/50, 4* Magik 5/50, 4* Captain America WWII 5/50, 4* Vision 5/50, and 4* Wolverine 5/50.
Team 1 (Synergy): 5* Black Panther 3/45, 5* Storm 3/45, 5* Guillotine 3/45, 4* Magik 5/50, and 4* Magneto 5/50.
Team 2 (Gods): 4* Gwenpool 5/50, 4* Magik 5/50, 4* Captain America WWII 5/50, 4* Vision 5/50, and 4* Wolverine 5/50.

To answer your full question, sometimes even the gods aren't the right tool for the job. Champs that accomplish the specific goal have more value.
Is it a high sustain map (most end game content)?
Do you need poison/bleed immune?
Etc, etc. If there's synergy, great. If not, most times it won't break you.
But as the ability team i preffer,
1. Ultron (immunity, regen, bleed, stun),
2. Magic/Guilly/voodoo (power lock, health recover in limbo/bleed, rev regen, regen if awaken/regen, power burn, poison),
3. Hulk (super fury, killer sa),
4. Ronan/Hyperion/venom (poison immune, rev buff, stun/power gain, stun, incinerate/bleed, buff stack),
5. Blackpanther/ Wintersoldier/ electra/ gwenpool (bleed/ammo pileup, power burn if awaken/bleed, assassin/ bleed),
6. Wolverine/x23/Rogue (bleed, regen/bleed, regen/ health steal, power steal).
All of them still got 2 common ability, high health and attack except mutant ones. This team will work fine in any level.
