CapIW unstoppable nullify

I cannot seem to get this to work. It doesn’t work on the trial of fire today and doesn’t work on the thing in the monthly quest. Yes I have kinetic potential and when striking the opponent the unstoppable is NOT nullified. Anyone else see this?

    The brawl node is a passive unstoppable and therefore you cannot nullify it with capIW

    No because Thing is immune to nullify and that’s what CAIW does, nullifies unstoppable.
