Calculation of X-Gene node

Does anyone know which way they calculate the X-Gene node(reduces your attack by 50% apart from a certain class) when in those circumstances that you have class advantage but the reduced attack?

1: Do they reduce your base attack by 50% first and then add the class bonus?

Example: Iceman attack = 1793/2=896.5+336(bonus)=1232.5

2: Do they reduce your base attack by 50% after class bonus is added?

Example: Iceman attack = 1793+336=2129/2=1064.5

There is a difference between both ways as you can see (albeit a small difference) and given the description of the node it only says attack is reduced by 50% so I would be inclined to think they calculate it using the second method but personally a bonus shouldn't be reduced as why would it be a bonus then?

But anyways, open to peoples thoughts.

I'd expect them to reduce your attack as - 50% of your base attack, but kabam logic, you know... only mod can help. also remember when they say something's working as intended, it might not be true (yes, AA)

I think it is additive, so class advantage - X-Gene node.
