Is it worth it to save crystal shards for blade?

I've been looking around the forums and it seems like people think that blade is good for act 5 completion. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to go for the dhampir crystal?

I currently have 100% all of chapter 1, 100% 5/6 of chapter 2, and initial completion of all of chapter 3.
