Duel question/stash

I’m wondering when duel chips end up in your stash?
I used to see them all the time, adding up in my stash but now they’re never there.
I know you get 5 duel credits per day..
But If you don’t duel at all for a day, do your duel credits go to your stash? (If you don’t duel for a week would you have 35 in the stash?)

I ask because a few weeks ago I needed to duel to prepare for a fight in a war, after 5 duels it said I needed to use units to duel. But I dueled multiple times past 5 anyways and it didn’t charge me any units. It acts like it knows I have extra duel chips, but I cannot see them or something.

So my question is, if i do not duel for a day, do my extra 5 duel chips go to my stash?
If not, when do duel chips go to your stash?

I contacted support, but they weren’t very helpful They said I had been claiming them but I haven’t.

I hope this is posted in the right section, I didn’t want to put it in bugs cause I very well could be wrong.

@DoctorSnore , you get 5 free duels a day, above that you will be using up to 5 Duel Credits that is the Max from your Inventory. Then you have to go claim from Stash another set of 5 Credits from the many that may be in your Stash (if you do not claim additional from Stash first, your 11th+ Duel will cost you 5 Units each). So long as you do daily Solo Events, those are what give you more Duel Credits (which generally always end up in Stash because you most likely have the 5 max in Inventory).

This makes sense.
So the duel credits that used to be in my stash’s overflow were rewards from certain of the daily solo events huh? (For example some of today’s solo events are “7H Skill Combat, and 22H Level Up!)

I guess I never paid attention to which event’s milestones/rank rewarded duel chips, but I get why I’m not longer seeing them in my stash.

It’s one of those resources in the game that you don’t care about/need till you need to duel more than once..
