I just did the math because I was wondering how much it would cost. And I just decided to share it.

Yeah, at this point it's overpriced. They're just keeping T5B rare at the moment, and for good reason. The fact that they added it at all kinda surprised me, but I can see that they slowly wanna weave in more ways to gain T5B to move the meta along.

Definitely not worth the glory though, not even the first purchase. All my glory is going into T2A and AW pots.

I bet t5bc prices will drop after the first or second chapter of act 6 releases and t5cc are introduced, similarly to how t2ac prices went from 1200-800-400. I’m stocking up on t2ac till then since they’re at an all time low, and likely won’t go much lower.

But if you buy 2 per week: 900*2=1800*4 weeks= 7200 every month+ 9000 from UQ=16.200 T5 Basic fragments every month.

So every 6 months you will be able to rank 5 one champ instead of 10 months

Whether or not it’s worth it depends on your roster / how much glory you get per week / AW pot needs.

I will probably start off buying 3x t5b per week since expect to get plenty of t2a from other spots and this should still leave me enough glory to buy 3-4 pots for AW per week. T5b is the main bottle neck so if can get an extra 10k per month from glory that’s a plus. However I have several R5s already and plenty of r4s so my roster needs are different than others. It’s really just replacing the 3 t2a I used to buy when they were 1k.

If have rough week in AW then I will drop to 2x T5b to pick up some more

That still doesn't seem worth it. One t5b for 5 months of glory spending? No thx lol. Also, you can rank 5 a champ way faster than that cause of challenges/AW season rewards/AQ rewards/etc. The T2A glory return on glory is amazing right now though.

The only time I see t5b being worth it at that price is if you are overflowing on T2A and you're starting to cap on glory.

I’m not complaining since I won’t be saving for it. I was simply pointing it out as a total needed. I was just calculating the glory needed too fully form it. I did not count the added T5 basic since only one alliance gets that prize. Some alliance don’t get T5 basic at all with AQ. If I calculated with these rewards just. For 1st place AQ player, it would not calculate proper and the amount of glory would be off.

Well people who are not uncollectedhave to wait 2 years if they get the required glory each month too gain the shards. In those 2 years, I’m sure they will become uncollected at some point.
