Corvus shock damage from variant 3.3 boss

Corvus sometimes gets shock damage whilst his glaive charges are active but sometimes don’t. Is this a bug?

The shocks are passive he’s meant to take damage

He isn't immune to all shock damage.

No. He is immune to the damage of shock debuffs only
