Unblockable Arena?

In the 4 and 5 star arena, I am for no apparent reason unable to block at all. I hold down, and my champion just hovers there. Just wondering if this is happening to others or just me.

Somthing similar happened to me today, in AW. Mordo's SP2. It's a 2 part hit, my RHulk block the first part and got knock down on second part, weird.
Didn't moved my thumb, it just happened.
