ROL Winter Soldier AI change?

I've been battling ROL Winter Soldier like everyone else dozens, maybe hundreds of times, and maybe I'm crazy.... but he's gotten a design change in his fighting style recently. He's doing that new half dash, stop, dash into a heavy and alot more faking out than he used to...
Anyone else notice this? Essentially he's "harder" or "smarter" now. It was day and night when I was playing around with Proxima trying to hit her Intercept mission and Winter Soldier wouldn't dash into my intercept AT ALL like he used to.
