So my first post got deleted for 'not being contructive' so let's try this. Who thought we needed yet another capt/miss marvel?

    You dont "need" any of the champions, but there is a new movie, one that does not fit with the profiles for the other captain marvels, so it makes sense.

    Maybe just maybe because her origin is different plus mcu is not the same universe and marvel comics. Marvel comics is known as earth-616. Mcu is known as earth-1999 or something along those lines. So two different universes.
