Quick Question: Your personal contributions when changing Alliances

Hi guys,

Bit of a newb question but just to clarify. I just recently joined a new Alliance and have a couple timers on for the alliance events. I reckon that I won't qualify for any event that terminates before that. However, I was wondering if during this period (eg: Summoners Advance is 24h of wait), if my point will contribute to the Ally?

Just wondering if I should way to open all my crystals or if I can do it already.
