Offline mode

I think Kabam could consider allowing offline gameplay for story/event quests.

What I mean by that?

Lets say, I am travelling in a train/bus, playing my solo quest, and it loses connection. How does it matter? Just let me play. Worried about somebody hacking rewards? You could choose not to yield rewards till the game is back online.

Thoughts?

how will the progress be saved if offline gaming is allowed? it will become phone saved not cloud saved if not played in online mode.

Why does the progress need to always store in the server? The updates can be flushed at the end of the quest. Its probably a technical discussion. I am a software guy and I don’t see any trouble implementing it.

This concept isn’t that crazy, it’s definitly possibly AND ideal because the connection issues clearly indicate the online servers don’t work properly. Having MCOC being an offline game with regularly scheduled uploads of data to the cloud after a certain play session or time period has passed
