New a.c.c shards replaced unopened Romance shards

in Bugs and Known Issues
Where there is now avengers assemble crystal in the special crystal heading was romance crystals 2 to 4 star shards. I had over 4000 shards. I had left 2 or 3 unopened and now all are gone. Why are last months romance shards dissappeared. I still have a 3-4 star ult.romance crystal. Which has not disappeared under main crystal heading. So ????? What gives?

    Limited time shards always dissapeared I believe, if you formed them into crystals they would stay

    Ya i just looked at them this mornin and wasnt aware they were gonna disappear. Or i woulda converted them or opened them. Usually we gat some kind of notice. But KABAMMED AGAIN.

    Was there a timer on them ? That would indicate you would have to “convert” the shards into an actual formed crystal (which then in theory should be able to stick around until opening later).

    I dont remember seeing one but apparently there was. But like i already said usually they remind us if something is going to dissappear. But i put in a ticket and guess what kabam said they would do for me? They offered me a suggestion form. Lmao
    My issue is minor. But it not like it costs them anything to fix or compensate us. And i for one would spend more if we were treated a bit better.

    The timer hasn't been they'll disappear, the timer has been there for earning them. I have 30k shards I can't use. It was never said you had to convert them or lose them. I had one crystal so I see it along with 30k shards I can't convert.

    Have been here since the beginning, and I've never had earned shards just disappear or not be able to be used/converted. We have a few in the alliance like that too as we were holding for the new SA today.

    And for some reason I can't edit a comment. Says I need the Vanilla.Comments.Edit permission to do that. Weird.

    But my shards still show. I just can't access them. Assuming because I have one crystal, it doesn't disappear. But there was no warning. Nothing in the description that they had to be converted or lost.

    Well, not exactly, as an example, all your 5* shards do not actually earn you the 5* Feature Crystal, you have to actually convert them (aka, buy the current 5* Featuee Crystal). After the Feature (or special like Blade) crystal timer ends, you can no longer still say “well, I had shards, I still want that crystal”. The timer has ended and no more can be bought/converted.

    Although I agree it is strange that the unusable shards are still listed, in addition to the fully formed crystal that has not been opened yet. I would have thought only the fully formed crystal would be the only thing still showing on above “Crogs” reply.
