Avengers 4 Endgame Theory: Black Knight Is The Key To Doctor Strange's Plan!

Avengers Endgame is a film shrouded in mystery and intrigue. But this film is essentially selling itself, so by not talking about it, fans are already generating buzz for the movie. But at the same time, this is the perfect feeding ground for internet theories to take root. There are no doubt a plethora of theories out there concerning what might happen in Avengers Endgame, the fourth Marvel film to be directed by the Russo Brothers but there was one in particular that caught our interest. Namely, this theory suggests that thanks to canned plans in the MCU and the recent announcement of Marvel reprinting some specific older Avengers titles, an older and more obscure character may play a role in Endgame. That character is, of course, Black Knight. Owner of the Ebony Blade, one of the strongest magical items in the Marvel Universe, Black Knight is known to be a powerful member of the Avengers and someone who knows a thing or two about time travel. Considering time is the prevailing theory for how the surviving Avengers will fix the events of Infinity War, we can actually buy into the theory that this Marvel character may be making a small debut in the MCU, paving the way for a Phase 4 debut at some point in the future. The Avengers will need some sort of guide for navigating the timeline once Ant-Man makes it possible in the Quantum Realm, so why not have Black Knight show up for a few scenes to guide the Avengers on their way? Considering the specific reprint comics coming out feature Black Knight, it does seem possible!

I don’t know if your right but I would love it. He was one of my favorites. The Proctor storyline was one of my favorites. And if that means the next big lead up was to to 1) the Bloodties cross over (if Marvel gets the X-Men rights back) or 2) Galactic Storm that would be fantastic.

the theory seems sketchy as all get out to me. They reprint an Avengers comic with a story titled "Endgame" which happens to feature Black Knight joining the team, and so everyone suddenly thinks he's coming into the movies with zero build-up and no real connection to the plot. Yeah, right. Remember how they didn't introduce Captain Marvel at the end of Age of Ultron because Feige over-ruled Whedon because it would've confused the hell out of audiences? Same thing here. There's enough characters involved in the plot already without shoehorning him in.
