Rhino as AW boss

So my alliance is tier 18 (low I know) and we went against another alliance that had Rhino as the boss. He has basically no opening against him since his heavy attack is quick so the unstoppable lasts for the full duration (unlike IMIW for example) and he is unstoppable during his dashes so you can't intercept. Was this overlooked by kabam cause it's really amazing how good of a boss he can be. What would be some good strategies against him?

Last i checked his heavy isn't unstoppable so to fight him stay close and bait his heavy soon as his animation finishes go in and get your combo in. Also bait sp1/sp2 and counter as soon as they are done

just pointing out that rhino is really beatable and his heavy attack is one of the slowest in the game.

one strategy is bait a heavy and build him up to a bar of power and then bait the sp1 over and over again after that.

Yeah, for some reason, lower tier aw bosses go unstoppable after heavy making them almost tougher than higher tier bosses

He shouldn't be unstoppable with his heavy.
The best way to fight a stun immune Rhino is to bait his Heavy L1 or L2 and counter attack.

Also, blade will tear him up.

You just need a champ with good block proficiency like CAIW, SL, Sabretooth, etc, then bait his heavy. It’s pretty noticeable because he cocks his arm back and launches. Then counter. Also bait his L1 as it’s easy to avoid and punish. Rhino’s attack is really subpar compared to other champs so the chip damage from blocking shouldn’t be too bad.

He can be a pain since heavy hit isn't interrupted at that level, hit him as much as you can when he is blocking so you can get him to a special

Some people don’t know that low tier war bosses are unstoppable heavy attacks.

That being said, she hulk and spidergwen can now stop that. Or iw cap.
Plus blade with gr synergy to negate some of his abilities.

She hulk would be best option since her heavy can stop unstoppable during the attack & stop it from proc’ing.

Yep just looked tier 18 boss has heavy hitter so you can only really bait specials

The AW boss is unstoppable (heavy attacks) at lower tiers

I’m also in a lower tier alliance, and I’ve found that there’s still an interval where you can heavy intercept after the unstoppable. Then again, I haven’t fought a Rhino boss in a while, so my memory might be wonky. Like everyone else said, just hit into the block and bait out the specials

Yeah we had a ultron 4/55 as our boss was really annoying with the fact the guy or gal also had unfazed opened so he was evading and unstoppable the whole time was a fun interaction

Let me clarify for OP... He means that rhino becomes unstoppable while loading/using heavy because of the local node.
