Alliance war cheating?

How is this possible. There were no defenders for my alliance to fight. There were no attackers on my defense side. Is this a bug, or cheating?‭

What do you mean? Looks like they just explored more than you (and each empty node brings 3 attack bonuses), so they won.

The stats show you both have defenders remaining tho. But the defenders aren’t placed in paths that matter moving to the empty boss node? What kind of an AW is this?

They had more Exploration, and Attack Bonus.

If you only had 4 attackers and they had 6 attackers, they would explore a lot more nodes. Any numbered node, even empty ones, can earn you Attack Bonus points (up to 3x80 per node, unless you get killed some times on a node). And then non-numbered nodes also give Explore points, same as numbered nodes (separate from Attack Bonus).

Seemed like both teams apparently also spaced out there defenders. If you’re placing a very limited defense it is best to group them on the final paths to boss, at least you can try and get some kills from them and reduce their Attack Bonus Points (instead of other team just avoiding fighting them when scattered about).
Or place a bunch all together at the beginning too (before the paths start to split apart)

When I went through my attack phase, there was not a single defender. Also, we had 19 defenders. How did they clear the battlegroup without any defender kills. Wish I would have thought to take a screenshot, but this wasn’t the first time that I went into a war where no one from the opposing alliance participated.

They didn't die to any of your defenders and explored more of the map than you did. No one cheated. You lost a match that someone was trying to hand you.

Just realized, only 4 from my alliance participated. Battle group 2 is where they were, while we were in battle group 1. Mistake noted, and never happening again.

Yep, 0 Attacker Kills and 0 Defender Kills means everyone traveled paths where there weren’t any defenders placed. It does show defenders remaining of looks like 17 vs 27 (so even those that placed defenders didn’t even place a full 5 of them, lol).

And if you say this was a 2-Group War, then yep, both sides didn’t even have either people (or enough people) to travel all the way up to Boss. Only 1 group from each ally went thru the boss node (BattlegroupnClears = 1). I assumed at first it was just a 1-Group war.

Since this seems like it was just a misunderstanding, this will now be closed.
