Due to these gifts, I have gotten my fifth fife star, Morningstar!
I heard she's good and a bit underrated.

Here's a couple of questions:
1. Does she need Dupe? High Sig?
2. What Rank should I rank her to?
3. Where should I use her?
4. How do I use her?

Any addition tips and tricks will help.

1. yes, i'd say 100 at the least
2. 3/45 mostly or 4/55 if you like playing her
3. pretty good bleed immune champ and is pretty good on AW defense
4. she needs at least one fight to really get the damage cause she needs souls.

1. Yes a dupe, mainly to get that extra soul to inflict bleed when struck. You'll need a relatively good sig lvl to really get a decent fury/regen/power gain.
2. This depends on the rest of your roster.
3. She shines best when you can use that devastating SP2. Match-ups with lots of buffs are ideal. Her bleed immunity is interesting to.
4. Well, you best start the fight with a parry + heavy, so you get that power gain buff. You need to get her some souls, so save up to a SP3. I find in most fights, the opponent will be dead before I can deploy that, or will be dead once I do that. That's a big disadvantage.

I'm currently using my Ms in aq
She's at r3 and she's a beast
Just need gold to take her to r4
She's amazing for questing both in story and aq.
I don't think she's great on defense personally.
She needs a high sig to be more amazing
She's also great on masochism and buffet. When they trigger, guess what happens?
Morning Star gets her own regeneration buff from those
And at 5 souls, she can pretty much survive almost anything.
50% chance to perfect block, life steal and a really crazy sp1. When it crits, damn....the damage is insane

On how to use her, your main priority is stacking souls by using sp3 and attacking the opponent to win souls. Once you have 5 souls, then she wrecks everything afterwards. Her sp2 functions like magik's sp3. Nullifies buffs and deals crazy extra damage. Heck, the buff doesn't need to be nullified in case the opponent has a node that reduces nullification active. You still deal the extra damage plus her sp2 becomes unblockable at three souls
Man she's a beast entirely. I don't know why or how she's underrated.

3) i use her in AQ every day, shes a wrecking ball @ 5 souls
4) you want to get to an sp3 asap, this will add 1 soul (up to 5 and 1 per fight). Sp1 (after 2 souls) will be most of your day-to-day damage. Sp2 deals extra damage per buff on the opponent, so she'll mow down any groot/Old man logan when their pacifism charges expire (aka they have lots of buffs). Sp3 gets you 1 extra soul as mentioned earlier.

Each soul on MS does something new:
1 soul: bleed on contact/ a lil bit of extra damage on the sp1
2 souls: a lot more damage on sp1/ unstoppable after sp1
3 souls: unblockable sp2
4 souls: 50% chance to perfect block
5 souls: 20: chance to life steal (aka regen). And this increases depending on how much damage you deal (i.e. crit vs. non crit)

If they die during ur sp3 u still get the soul from it

I used maxed 4 star, sig 65 Morningstar exclusively to deal with the masochism node in 5.2.4, the extra soul from Guilly helped a lot. She is so good for this node I did the whole quest with her alone

Id say she needs to be duped for both offence (stealing buffs for herself) and defence (bleed when being attacked)

Id say rank 3 unduped unless you plan to use the guillotine or mephisto synergies (extra soul start of quest and power start 1)

Shes amazing for AQ, Long quests, and war attack with the right synergies particularly if you have a medusa, the champion or hyperion as main boss! Shes also good in defence duped to catch put people on nodes that dont usually require a bleed immunity

As for how to use her, you want to use your sp3 asap when the fight starts to gain a soul, then play offensively to get the soul capture from 50 to 100 by hitting them to gain a soul! Each one having a new effect, you can do this faster using the mephisto synergy to start with1 bar or using a heavy attack to get a power gain (which is stronger the more souls you get)

1 soul: bleeds opponents when hit 50% chance
2 souls: go unstoppable for 2.5 seconds after an sp1
3 souls: sp2 is unblockable
4 souls: 50% perfect blocks and take reduced energy damage (good for things like coldsnap and limbo
5 souls: 20% chance to life steal 100% damage done and regen!

Each soul increases the damage of her sp1! At 5 souls the energy damage is enormous!

Use your sp2 against people with alot of buffs and watch their health disappear! It works like magiks sp3

So, my last 5 * crystal came Guily, if it helps? I would say a lot. In fact, it begins the struggle with 1 soul, doing what the duplication would do (synergy). Well, I have long found the collection of souls hard to do, with their synergy I hardly need to worry about it in the first two fights.
