Overpowered new champs vs old champs.

Why not jus buff on the old champs giving them the abilities to cope up with new champs instead of creating the same champs?

Coming out with new champs, to be sold in crystals, is an important part of the revenue cycle for this game. Kabam has been trying to buff some of the champs that only need a small nudge with meaningful synergies, and full reworks have already come out for Red Hulk, Luke Cage, She Hulk, Spidergwen, Carnage, and Venom and Gamora recently.

They're working on it. Just a matter of time

This way they can add more champions to the basic pool while making older champions obsolete - you’ll get frustrated pulling the old champions with the 1-2 5* crystals you earn per month and buy more unit crystals.
