Why does RNG seems so rigged ?

Before you guys start jumping on me asking me if I know what RNG is and how it works then let me tell you I know it very well . Also I play this game with uttmost passion and respect for everything and everyone .

I honestly believe even though it's RNG it seems so rigged . Here are my points and you can agree or disagree no need to disrespect .

1: void never seems to put the petrify debuff on aggressive Regen nodes ( remember red hulk boss some weeks back ) ? On these nodes he puts petrify at the end .

2: you use a generic awaking on a champ and you seem to magically pull that champ in next 3-4 openings even though you worked you a$$ off to awaken that champ naturally over the years .

3: while fighting void he seems to put petrify debuff as the 1st one if running suicides ( you can always shrugged that off ) .

4. This one is for me and the main reason for posting this one . We got a free awaking gem in December . I completed act 5 and then through Intel I bought an awakening gem . What are the chances that I got the same gem in all 3 . Doesn't it seem like something's fishy ? All the time it's says problem connecting to your network it seems like the algorithm is just checking how many gems you already have along with how many sig stones you have .. and it keeps giving the same gem .

5: opening t4cc . I had 0 mutant and 4 mystic in overflow . I opened 7 and 3 of them were mystic and no mutants . I mean it is random but why does it never seems to work in our favor ( or my favor not to disrespect anyone. )

5 . On aggressive AI nodes I seem to miss parry and the defender hit me many time except when I am playing against BPCW . I never to miss a parry against him even if I try to play bad ( muscle memory ? IDK guys. ) .

Express your views . I could be sour about my luck but I don't know . Something just doesn't add up mates

The way I've always regarded this game is like going in a Casino. No matter what you do you will lose significantly more times than you will ever win. Think about it from a business standpoint, both from the casino perspective and simple businesses need to make a profit perspective. If we won even half the time the casinos would go broke and out of business. If businesses were in business to break even they would eventually close shop.

It is no different from this game except on your point that it's rigged. It's not rigged, it was meant to make us lose more times than we win. That's the game's design that keeps Kabam in business. Every time a player feels utter frustration in beating a node and just wants to get it done, all those $10 dollars add up. It makes no sense for Kabam to make it easy especially on high mid-game to end game content. It's either you're a game fighting god or you're willing to drop thousands a month to stay ahead. Of course there's the exception you spend your life entirely on this game like some of the YouTubers, but then again they make some money from doing vids on MCOC.

Unfortunately there's no other way to look at it.

The more you're willing to see MCOC as a cash cow for Kabam's top executives, the easier it gets to deal with some of the games most anxiety-causing aspects. I have five 6*s, 5 are trash. Opening my 7th 6* in about a month or so and expecting total rubbish. After getting 10 garbage 5*s in a row I've learned to just live with whatever I get. It makes the pain more tolerable.

Nobody talks about the times when things go right. Nobody posts about the times when Void conveniently stacks 2 petrifies first against a regen fight. Nobody mentions months or a year or so later after they use an awakening gem on a champ that they have yet to pull that champ again, so using the gem was well worth it. You don’t hear about situations like these, which makes it seem even moreso that the RNG is rigged, but it doesn’t mean those situations don’t happen. I’ve had those lucky times with Void. I have several 5* champs that I used awakening gems on between 4-10 months ago, have yet to pull them again, and have made great use of their sig abilities in that time.

Maybe they aren't?? maybe they are actually glitchy??? How is it possible to pull 7 2 star hulks during the same arena cycle???? Not all at once even but one at a time???? And 6 yellowjacks in one not long ago...

Casinos exist to make money. You take the risk at the table knowing the odds are stacked against you. Kabam is also a for profit company. You also know this when downloading the game. Kabam's employee's draw a paycheck so someone has to pay them. It's been proven time and time again that you can advance in this game without spending. They are doing what any company that exists to make a profit does. Any that sells products or services have similar strategies.

As far as RNG goes, its always "rigged" when you don't get what you want, when you want it.

I used an awakening gem on 4* SW and used sig stones to get her to 99. I have never duped her from a crystal once in the last 3 years.

RNG is the reason I like using characters like SL and now classic CM.

No fancy buffs to trigger, no special combos, no waiting for abilities to kick in after 15 seconds. Just the basic nature of fighting.

    HIT AND DONT GET HIT.

While I get the basics of pRNG quite well, I don’t pretend to understand the specific mechanics of pRNG as applied to the randomness in this game. After 4+ years of playing, I’ve given up on expecting it to do anything other than frustrate me most times and delight me once in a while.

But I honestly don’t believe anything is “rigged,” if for no other reason than that that would be real-world wrong and awful. I expect the AI to have some structural advantages built in because it isn’t able to improvise like a human can. I tend to yell “Cheap!” at my phone when those advantages pop up (more colorful phrases come out when I’m not in public or around family), but I’ve come to accept that that’s just part of the game.

Bottom line: manage expectations, enjoy what you can, don’t get too worked up. Allocate time toward things that are useful and enjoyable and away from things that aren’t.

This is happening guys . It's definitely rigged

If by rigged you mean everything Prof Hof says? Yes, its rigged. Probably the worst example of anything you could ever bring up. This is like bringing a piece toast to a gun fight. Makes sense if you don't actually think about facts.

Hey there, as we've mentioned on more than one occasion in the past, the odds of pulling any particular Champion or Awakening Gem are the exact same as the chances to get any other, unless otherwise specified on the crystal. Even if what you receive isn't what you wanted right now, it can still be useful to you in the future and you will likely have opportunities in the future to receive more of those items/Champions. Since we've addressed this question previously, this thread will now be closed.
