Sound Issues With New Update [Merged Threads]

I am playing in the Shadow arena and I am noticing some issues with sounds.

First issue is with basic hits: I found that the basic hits for multiple champions don't sound correct/how they have always been. Sounds like I am hitting with a plastic bag.

Second issue is I am getting some sounds after I finish the fight, on the victory screen.

Device and Version: iPhone XS
Device Operating System: 12.1.4 ( I will update to latest OS soon and check to see if there is still an issue).
Mobile Carrier: Verizon (using WiFi)
Cellular or WiFi: both
Game Version Installed: 22.1
Game Mode: Arena - Shadow (only thing I have done so far today)
Champions Affected: Most but not all my 5 Stars so far at multiple ranks.
Active Boosts: N/A

I’m getting very similar, I’m using iPhone X.
During hit combo some of the landed hits sound effects are seriously deminished, sometime no sound at all or hollow sounding. Definitely not the same sound effects for combo hits as it was prior to this latest update.

Is it just me, or are most champions' sound effects from hitting opponents not going through? I noticed it first in AQ and now in arena, many champions aren't getting the sound effects from smacking opponents with their basic attacks...

Same. During fights, the hits sound quite different, not in a good manner....

Also have the weird sounds after some fights. Sounds like horses galloping.... I have a short video of this but forums won’t allow me to post it here.

Anyone else getting this weird sound at the end of a match that sounds like crackling?? Lol.
Been experiencing that several times now. Wanted toknow if anyone else had too.

Every now and again when the hits connect the sound does not register as shown in the 16 second video ^

Sounds are bugged all over the place. Sometimes it sounds like you hit the enemy with a plastic bag. If you finish a fight while the opponent is with his back to the wall the crumbling sound keeps looping untill you load into the next fight.

Another Detail in regards to the looped crumbling sound.

This happens in Arena when a) opponent is with his back to the Wall and b) im using an sp1 or 2 which makes "physical contect" like Guillotine sp1, Omega Red sp2 to finish the fight. Projectiles or "range attacks" like morning star sp2 doenst trigger the messed up sounds.

Seriously though.. this update is so riddled with bugs! If any of the mods claim there was any sort of testing prior to release, I call B.S.!
Literally hundreds of super obvious glaring bugs!

(1) The extra sound after the end-of-fight screen (sounds like someone left the “record” button on while they crinkle a bad of potato chips or candy bar) that happens maybe once every 5-10 fights...

This is similar to a Sound Bug from about a year ago, where end-of-fight would occassionally just be a continual loop of an attacking or “knocked down” sounds that would just go on forever until you exited.

and (2) also during fights the Volume of the Attack Sounds seems to fluctuate up and down during the course of the fight.

iPad 6th Gen, iOS 11.4.1. **but at least it's NOT that really loud and obnoxious Crashing Noise at the end of IMIW fights when he was first released

Thank you for this information. We are investigating some issues with sound in game now.

The in-game combat audio is not even close to what it used to be after v21.1. Hits sound like they are whiffing, where they used to be crisp and on point, which made for much more satisfying gameplay. This has not been identified by Kabam as a known bug to the best of my knowledge. I’ve combed through the forums and do not see it being listed as a bug. After the most recent hotfix that dropped today (v21.1.1), the issue remains. I am happy to provide gameplay video, but all one has to do is open the game and jump in arena, or watch any recent content creator vids.

Happening for me also. Once fight ends sounds continue as if I am still fighting.
