Would anyone know why my Darkhawk doesn’t start any fight in Sheild Mode, Null Mode, or anything?

    Because he isn't supposed to unless you use his synergy with night thrasher or Moonknight.

    Do you always r4 champions without reading about them?

    Yeah it was kind of a false sense when they had him start in bull mode for monthly EQ

    Congrats on that hawk. Perhaps add more signature to him to be more effective. You can get those modes activated by launching special 2 and 3. As everyone said you need synergy with night thrasher or moon knight to get random mode started right at beginning of fight. Good luck.
