I suddenly have a different account

Last night I downloaded the game again after months of not playing and decided to start a new game using my Google account (never had a kabam account prior to today to use support). Everything was fine at first. I reached level 4, joined an alliance, chose a name, and set my picture. I had 4 champions (Spider-Man classic, wolverine, vision, and magneto). Then I went to bed and when I woke up this morning and got back on the game, I had 5 champions, none of which were the same as last night and my name was blank (and I couldn't use the one I had already chosen) but I was still in the alliance I joined last night and I'm pretty sure my progress was the same. Can anyone explain what happened and how I can get my name and champions back?
