Immunities - champion needs

As debuffs like shock and incinerate become more and more prevalent I feel it necessary to bring up some old issues.

IE GR not being incinerate immune when his head is on fire.

Similar to the changes you made to shock on characters like Jane, Nebula etc. Please go back and update incinerate to truly reflect what a champions immunities should be. As well as any current and future debuffs yet to be visible in the contest.

Being more diligent in this area is something the whole community benefits from and levels the playing field in all game modes.

🤦🏻‍♂️ Yet another one of these threads. GR is perfectly capable of being incinerated. He’s not encased in normal fire, it’s a mystical fire. Every character is not going to be 100% reflective of movies, comics, TV shows, or what you personally believe.

Ghost Rider doesn't need to be incinerate immune. If we go to "reflect" about it, he still shouldn't be.

In typical fashion the critics immediately try to input their opinion. First of all GR was an example, right or wrong their are champs that certainly need their immunities looked at. And side note if you guys read the comics saw the sh*t movie or whatever pretty sure if a fire ball or hell if he jumped in the middle of an inferno in hell he’d be just fine. Mystical fire or not —- and PS it’s the same musical fire Mephisto uses - and he is immune. At any rate the message was addressed to kabam. Let them have a look at GR and the whole roster in general.

There you have it. No reason for him to be immune.
He is if the creators want him to be, and that's it.

If it is to use the same criterion that was used in Mephisto, I agree that the GR must also be immune to incineration. Even because, it manipulates normal fire and infernal fire (mystic fire).

Gr could use that incinerate immune added to him. He has fallen out of the meta long time ago and that wouldn't bring him back to meta still, and with human torch on the table, it would be nice to have more incinerate immune options, and ghost rider is perfect candidate to take that role.

The same flames as mephisto
And guess what
Mephisto is immune to incinerate

I agree with the OP. Not that GR, or someone like Dormy, need to be immune to incinerate, but how about reduced damage. Just like they did with the updates to champs and Shock damage mentioned by OP.

Storm will own mephisto as he will not use incinerate but nova flame because it is a mystic champ.
