Korgs and Dominos

Anyone else think that the Korgs and Dominos in the uncollected EQs every month are harder than the actual bosses. Korg just is a pain to fight and Domino seems to always have rng on her side against me.

I'm gonna be rude, but mate if you find hard against korg and domino and you find them almost everywhere...wso why don't you start practicing... practice makes a man perfect

I'm not sure if I agree if they're harder, more of a challenge than the actual bosses. I do however think Korg remains an absolute pain to fight, I rarely scout ahead so I usually find myself lacking in terms of bringing a "right champ to fight him"+ fully evading his sp1 is still a learning experience for me.
Domino I just absolutely hate, since there is zero skill needed in fighting against her, it's bs rng that totally screws you up.

@Geoqui21 I typically bring my sparky and do okay against Domino, but she still breaks my dang block pretty often

Why would you ever block against her when intercepting her dash is insanely easy? Just bait her dash, dex it, then counter. She's super easy to fight, only time she ever gets me is if crit failure damage gets me

On a side note, who is a good korg counter. I got by with using Quake and imiw.

Best counters to Korg = Omega Red and more Omega Red, Energy based champs like Bishop or Dr. Strange, BW, any champ can defeat him just only use light attacks to avoid thorns.

Domino just need to use the evade counter strategy. So many people don’t know that this is a thing but if you dex her first hit you can immediately counter her

yeah when she dashes in for her two hit medium swipe back then swipe back in and you can always keep hitting her. also to KORG domino is a count to his thorns with her medium hit and then LLL

Yes I know, in (story/event)quests I bring my 5/65 SL, I still consider her to be a random non-skill required **fight (my view on this might be influenced by some arena fights against her which were just awful).

Never had to worry about Korg until this month Uncollected.... Degen if no hits in 6 seconds and he is just remaining blocked... If I try to get a heavy attack, he is attacking me immediately... No clue on how to beat that guy.. and there's Fury in the path next

I know how to beat Korg and do it regularly in AW. This month's Uncollected EQ Korg in 3.2 was a nightmare. At the end of the day I broke down and just button mashed to kill him. Burned through 2 team revives to do it. For me, the revives would be cheaper than attempting (and failing) to redo this path 6 times.

MODOK is annoying as well. Cowers in the corner until his auto-block returns, so your only option is to just inflict block damage. You can't hit him normally otherwise. Any attempt to heavy will yield a combo to the face. My best option there was Yondu because he has good block penetration and can still inflict bleed.

This new AI programming is very passive. And when combined with nodes like this that have timers, there is no easy way to do it. Very frustrating. I honestly have lost track of how many times I've yelled, "will you just f***ing fight already?" at my phone.

Yeah, korg in this UC3.2 is a pain in the ass. I have no problems with domino by using the dash back counter, just need to look out for her evade when she is lucky.

My way of fighting korg is to bait heavy and then counter, break his rock shield, etc - good enough for AW and EQ usually. But the brute force node and other node buffs really made korg much harder.

Every other fight in UC was manageable and one-shotable.

No, I don't think that, but I think this depends a lot on whether a player has had significant practice fighting either. They are both annoying when you don't have a lot of practice fighting them, or don't have solid tactics for dealing with their special brands of nastiness.

Also, I will bring specific champs to deal with those on the uncollected maps generally (lower than that, they aren't a big deal) if I think they are going to be a problem. I generally bring Blade to deal with Korg, just to heal back any accidental rock damage and I generally use Vision against Domino because he's bleed immune and has strong power control: if Domino can't bleed you and can't use specials, she's not really very dangerous. I think I can beat both with most of my high rank champs, but I'm not a glutton for punishment either.
