Crystals choose a champion before they stop spinning

Crystals should all spin the same and the champ it land on should be when i stops spinning, when you stop the crystal you get the profile pic with the new champ before you know what it lands on all the time and it shouldnt that means the champ is basically being selected for you countless times ive stopped a crystal and its landed next to champs but the crystal is still spinning, how can the champion be chosen if the crystal is still spinning

The animation is just a visual effect. It's a random selection of possibilities. The outcome is generated when you place it to Spin

It's actually when you click to stop spinning it. Someone did an experiment on this and posted it here a while back. You can place to spin and get disconnected, return and still have the crystal.

Not that it's much a big difference.

No, you are both are technically wrong. When you buy the crystal is when the champion is chosen for the crystal. This is why you can spin it, disconnect, and still have the crystal. It is also why you can buy a 5* crystal now, and even if you save it for 10 years none of the champions that come between now and then wil come with it. Kabam has conformed quite often confirms this and pointed out that the spinning carousal means absolutely nothing.
This is totally incorrect. If you collect premium shard crystals for the next year then open them, they will contain all the champs available at that time. Kabam have never confirmed otherwise although they have repeatedly stated that the carousel is just visual.

if you collect premium crystal *SHARDS* you are correct. If you collect premium *CRYSTALS* you are incorrect. They have confirmed on countless occasions that when crystals are bought they only contain the champions released at that time. they used to put in in the in game emails when they released a new champ that he would not be in crystals already bought.

If you get *shards* yes, but once you use those shards to buy *crystals* it locks you in. There used to be in game emails when they announced the pools that stated that crystals bought before those champs were added to the pool would not contain those champions (this was the base pool), just like if you bought a featured 5* now and waited 6 months it would not contain that pool of featured 5*s, it would contain this pool of 5*s

The only time pools don't carry over from prebought crystals are the Featured Crystals

totally, if yu have a friend in your ally next to you or on call.. spin it .. it will there on the alliance what yu got before the champ appears on your screen. its a bummer! but the moment yu load the crystal.. its decided what yu get.. my only question is does the champ change every time i go back and load the crystal or when we purchase the crytal the champ is decided already

You wrong to. You can even buy the grandmaster deal and wait for the champ to get add but don’t use it

That is not their website, they have confirmed that it is just for show. It does not matter if you do it all at once or individually other than if you enjoy it.

Cant use featured 5* to back up your incorrect statement.
You can totally use 5* shards to get a basic crystal now and leave it for 5 months for newer champs to be added.

The featured is different as it’s contents are a very specific 24 champs, when a new featured is released its an entirely new crystal so of course the contents don’t carry over, you brought the old crystal.

    Hi there!

That link is our website. However, it's the animation that is spinning and not the champion choice. The animation is for show and entertainment, it doesn't have any deciding factor on what you will receive from the crystal.
