How long should I hoard my crystals?

Your chances of getting the champ you want goes down with every champ they add. So unless you're just dying to get one of these champs, and won't forgive yourself for not having a nearly non-existent chance, just pop them. There are plenty of outstanding champs for getting uncollected already in the pool. Hoarding isn't worth it until you've started to max out 5*s, and then you MIGHT want to save for a featured crystal with a bunch of champs you want in it. But that's very late game, so for the time being, crack those crystals.
