Its not against the rule as to who you place or what you do, i for one do War because its the best way to get loyalty chips. Im war became boring because the rewards suck people in my alliance do war so we can get loyalty to donate for AQ and im sure many other alliance is doing the same, im not going to lock up my good champs for war when there's variant , or AQ with better rewards.
