Kinpin has a pretty sustainable healthpool
Champion is of the same value when he is a 3 star, due to his synergys:
Champions only really good usage by now is to give "the Thing" a synergy which gives Thing like 800 % more attack!!!

I personally don't like either of these guys (I know the Champion is supposed to be good, and I even have the Thing synergy, but I still don't like him). But The Champion is good for AW defense and Kingpin is lacking in that department.

Champion is good for defence and has good synergies, such as with sentry and thing
