AQ mini GG acting unblockable

The last 2 days of AQ I've been unable to block the S2 of the FIRST GG map 5 mini boss.
The second GG has unblockable S2 but the first one doesn't.
I'm hopeless at evading it and my 5/65 cap IW can usually block it without taking too much damage but the last 2 days he's been breaking my block with his S2
Anyone experienced this?
