How to get 4 star shards faster?

It's day 9 of my new F2P account, I've completed act 3. I need 4 stars so that I can start doing the 4 star basic arena and utilize my begginer bracket. How do I maxinmize the amount of 4 star shards I get? What should I do next?

    Join good alliance which earns 4*s from war fights. Do event & special Quests. Grind arena . If you are lucky then you may find 4* in PHC.
