Ebony Maw - Content Creators Program

Watched some Youtube videos and have to say Ebony's attack and crit rate may need to be increased. He is one of the weaker champions that have been released and really not on par with where the game is at today. His animations look amazing and I know the CCP program isn't the final version so would just like to post this so hopefully Mods can go back to the game team and let them know (as I'm sure you will hear the same feedback from the CCP players). Please make adjustments to him prior to release as he needs a bit of a tweak. He doesn't have to be completely OP but right now he's probably one of the worst attackers that have come out in a long time. Just a little tweak could make him very useful in content.

Don’t worry. Once you face him in war, Act 6.2 on, and Variant 3, you’ll be satisfied with how quickly you get knocked out.

Besides the above points, it’s also worth pointing out that not every champ released needs to be top tier. In fact, EM is already good, but we already got CO and Ronin this month, both of whom are top tier. We don’t need, and I know I don’t want, a game solely populated by top tier champs.

There's ways to beat him and work around his abilities. I'll let you figure that out on your own. With that said I'm not asking for him to be buffed to insane numbers, just a little tweak to make him more effective as an attacker. As of right now he's one of the weakest attackers I've seen. Every other Mystic champ can take out champs in 1/2 of the hits.

Also most war nodes will be unhidden now so you will know where he is and can plan for him.

Not the point. I can beat him. I have seen some nodes in AW where he would be very difficult.

My point was that champs with special abilities should have a tradeoff for balance. For Ebony, it's his attack rating. He was designed for def, plan and simple.

Just use a science champ, there are many defenders that have come up that we've had to learn and counter. This is the same thing. (Korg, Domino, IWIM, etc.) you just have to learn to fight them and know who to bring. There may be nodes that he's difficult on but if you have Human Torch, Red Hulk, Glad Hulk, Void then guess what he's gonna go down pretty easy. Increasing his attack is necessary to make him a more useful champ and not a meme.
