Chat system woes

Will kabam ever revamp this chat system? There needs to be some kind of sticky messaging that leaders or officers can use. Also there should be a sub chat for officers !

Pretty much any gaming platform uses other apps for communication as that's what those apps are designed for.

The games are designed for, you know, gaming. So Devs will implement a basic chat to get going and focus more on the game.

First off, the OP issue is for making changes to in-game Chat (not for fixing all the broken chat stuff, which is plentiful and has many other open threads about those). While some improvements might be viable, outside Apps such as LINE are much more useful.

That would only apply if there were outside Apps that hacked/integrated themselves into the gaming system, such as to automatically detect freeing up of linked nodes in AQ/AW, or when your quest energy became full (or when next Energy Help Timer became available to ask for Help again), Arena heroes became available to use again, etc, etc

LINE and other Apps (or using YouTube Videos, etc) do not do anything like that, and are totally separated from game.
And you wouldn't want the in-game chat system to allow posting of pics, video, etc that would cause further strain on the servers (as well as potentially have inappropriate subject matter).

They don't force you to use other applications as the game chat will suffice however communication apps are far superior so it helps considerably as that's their design.

It's not a hard concept to understand.

also what is the point of dl more apps if you are trying to have less lag?
I turn off everything before I go into the game

all communication should be handled in game only or it it is a failure as a game and should be reported to apple/android store

You can't expect people to be there in game all the time right.. if you have line or some other apps you'll know when you are needed for aq or aw...

and as @SummonerNR said pushing chat notifications and stuff puts a lot of load on servers....

because they give kabam money, seatin proff hof etc...are just kabam youtube content creators, they pretty much "work" for kabam so ofc they get some slack and so will anyone else who have many subs or get many views promoting the game, kabam is a company, all companies only have 1 priority, to make money.

no but everyone that dont check alliance chat the first thing when they login get kicked, same as not going chat -> aw ->aq -> solo stuff, get kicked

chat need to work, kinda rude to kick ppl because kabam are such failure as game developers that they cant code the chat correctly, it is not the player we kick fault for chat not working, it is the fault of kabam why we kick people

The only issue with chat I see or atleast I experienced was when I play dungeons sometimes. Other than that it's pretty much fine as the way it is...

You can come up with some kind of push notifications when you're required ., But that's going to put additional load on the game... There's a difference in having a global notification and user specific notification....

I'd rather want Kabam to spend do more useful stuff in game rather than adding more effort on chatting system...

Who'd want to open game every minute and see what's going on in chatting window..... You need to turn off the game to do other things like life and work not the other way around...

BTW I'm not a Kabam developer 😉

The in game chat has always been terrible. Just did a dungeon and the other person couldn’t see any of my messages. This isn’t a new problem; we’re lucky when it does work.
