Do the upcoming uncollected. You get past 10k easy. And by the way, all the best for your 1st 6 Star. May you get saved from the massive disappointment it comes with.

Another option (if you can do so) is grind 5 star arena and get top 10% for the 100 shards.

Play dungeons, open a five star dungeon crystal, hope for a dupe. Thats 275 shards

Do variant 2 completion. Which I heard is easier than Variant Ultron. Thats 1000++ shards

Get 2 more 5star dupes and a top up offer will appear. But that is expensive. 1000 units for 500 shards only I think.

All the best! I think the more practical option is completing next UC event.

Congrats mate! Nc is good for defense. Limber nodes if they still exist. Currently my ofcers put him in either node 3 or 10 in war.
