Why is the gifting button option still there when you tap on a person's profile

It's just really giving me false hope 😂😂
But yeah. I know why they were taken away and I understand it was serious but I could really use some gifting right now

Anyway, like I said, the gifting button is still there even though you cannot do anything with it, so you might wanna get rid of it, especially for newer players who have no idea what gifting is (should be a quick fix)

[Alternatively you could add them back 😉]

What gifting events? They only do those for Christmas and Chinese New Year

For the time being, it's disabled. What we presume is it will be brought back for Events such as Chinese New Year or Christmas, yes. Nothing confirmed yet, but as it stands, it's still there. Just deactivated until they find a safer way to bring it back.

Because the gifting system was not removed from the game. Only the item that allowed to gift was removed for the time being until the system changes

Oh yeah, I know. My point was just that the button could be gotten rid off as to avoid confusion (it still redirects people to the unit store) but I mean they could be keeping it there for special events I guess

Did the button just come back? I haven't been playing much and this is the first time I've noticed it there.

See, that's what I thought, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up (I'm currently in 5.2.6 and the collector has 5% left but I'm out of units so I could use some gifting rn)
