I've been going unstable for rifts 1, 2, and 4, and stable for rift 3. My calculations conclude those options offer the highest average rate of return for me, because I don't value 4* awakening gems as being materially valuable for my progress level any more (also, I have a ton of them unused). That's why tier 3 rifts are flipped for me.

My RNG luck is horrible so yeah I'd rather get shafted by stable than get shafted by unstable

3 epic unstable rifts so far 1st one 500 5* shards 2nd and 3 rd science & tech Sig stones worst Rng for me.

I mean, nobody really cares about T1&2; but T3 should be Stable and T4 Unstable
